FAQ

Common questions from agencies interested in WinGS from TriTier.

If you have a question, or would like additional information, regarding any of our WinGS RMS modules or services, please reach out to us.

Is WinGS designed for a certain size agency, or can agencies of varying sizes use the RMS?

WinGS was built with a multi-threaded, modular design that allows the software to scale easily to agencies of varying sizes.

How is your pricing structured?

We try to make our pricing as simple as possible by charging a single monthly fee. There are no change orders required for software modifications or upgrades, and we include unlimited installations for the duration of the partnership.

How is software customization handled?

Your dedicated WinGS developer works with you on an ongoing basis to make any modifications or to develop new modules. There are no maintenance schedules or change orders required. Your developer works on features in a priority set by you.

Can I purchase just one module?

The Master Person, Incidents, and Arrests modules are the core of our system; the other modules are always available but not required. Additionally, we offer a stand-alone UCR module, that will be updated to NIBRS once that transition is finalized.

Can WinGS sync with a neighboring jurisdiction/department?

Yes. This may require a custom interface, but that is TriTier's specialty.

Do you offer CAD?

TriTier does not offer CAD. However, WinGS can easily be interfaced with existing CAD systems.

Is your UCR process synced?

Our UCR/NIBRS process gets its data directly from the Incident Reports and Arrests. No additional data gathering is required.

How do multiple officers contribute to Original Incidents at the same time?

When multiple officers are writing their own original or supplemental reports on a case, each officer can view the work of the other officers, if security allows. Some investigators may have enhanced security to see other reports, whereas their report may not be seen by lower level security.
